Teammates For Life was formally created in 2014 to carry on the spirit of brotherhood to extend beyond the athletes playing years at Irvine High School.   TFL is a 501(c)3 organization for alumni, parents and guardians of former football players, coaches and volunteers to support the Irvine Football program.  We want each player to form bonds with teammates that carry into a player’s adult life knowing that he has a support group to assist when times are difficult.
The goal of Teammates For Life is to support, raise funds, and help with the rising costs of running a successful high school football program.  The purpose of TFL is to organize, foster, promote, and advance the sport of high school football in a supervised, instructional and competitive manner.  In addition, TFL will provide funds for scholarships and financial aid to the extent that funds are available.
Teammates For Life is a separate organization from the Irvine Football Pigskin organization. Going forward, the Teammates For Life logo will be used expressly for this organization.  TFL is an alumnus driven organization whose members do not have children in the football program.  TFL is a non-profit organization that is funded by membership fees and other fundraising events.
